Procedures for self-unfolding of being in the context of culture dynamics
In: Socium i vlast, Heft 3, S. 56-70
Introduction. Within the boundaries of the onto- logical and personological turns in philosophy that are taking place today, the article proposes to look at the genesis and evolution of culture as a subject- subject situation of the dialogue of man and being, where the living (including man) and culture are the result of self-unfolding of being, self-knowledge by being itself, the process of which is carried out through what A. Badiou called the procedures of truth: poems, mathematics, politics and love. The purpose of the article is to show the dynamics of culture as part of the universe. Methods. The methodology is based on the Cartesian idea of the subject, phenomenology, the concept of I-subjectivity of A.V. Pavlov, A. Badiou's works and representatives of object-oriented ontol- ogy (G. Harman, K. Meissou, J. Bennett, R. Brassier). Scientific novelty of the study. The article consid- ers the procedures of truth proposed by A. Badiou as social practices that determine the existence of culture, the creative activity of a person, the con- struction by a person of the social sphere and the cognition/decoding of being. It is proposed to think of a person and the culture he creates as a result of self-knowledge and self-creation by being oneself. Results and conclusions. As a result, a conclusion is made about the ontological equality of a person because of his place in the general structure of being; about history as a movement from the loss of equality to its acquisition; about modernity and postmodernity as opposite forces inherent in any culture, associated with its variability; about the procedures of A. Badiou's truth as ways of knowing being by a person and being of oneself.
